Spinning has a distinct advantage to pressing
especially for concave, round or cylindrical shaped products. Spinning
offers fast lead times, and a comparable unit cost due to the initial
tooling charges being considerably lower. Spun metal products can be just
as strong and in many cases, is even stronger. This gives even better
quality and functionality to the component. |
